Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples was born in the United States and she is a performer, actor, singer and actress. The most notable recognition was given to her for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the principal role Jerrica Jem Betnton on the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, was raised in Lake Mary Florida. Her younger sister is Ally. While growing up Aubrey performed with The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speakers for the class in 2012. Harvard University was willing to accept her. But, she declined the invitation twice. It was the second time that it was due to her desire to be a part of Nashville. Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring role in Necessary Rustness (1991). Peeples was a part of the TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She had a major character in Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. In 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire ranked Peeples in the top spot on their list of the top actors under the age of twenty-one in September of 2014.
